Lizard Point Holiday Park is set on the Lizard Peninsula, the southernmost tip of the UK. It’s surrounded by open Cornish countryside and sits within easy reach of some of the area’s most striking coastline. In recent years, the park has seen around £2.5 million of investment, which has brought in a high ropes course, an Outdoor ‘n’ Explore base camp, refurbished chalets, and a fully updated main complex, now home to the Boathouse Bar & Restaurant.
There’s plenty to do on site, particularly for families. The indoor and outdoor heated pools are a big draw, and on warmer days the outdoor lazy river tends to be busy. Evening entertainment takes place in the showbar most nights, with a mix of live acts and quiz-style events. The park was previously known as Mullion Holiday Park before becoming part of the Parkdean Resorts group.
The wider area is just as appealing. Kynance Cove is only a short drive away and is often highlighted as one of the UK’s standout beaches. Other nearby spots include Mullion Cove, Kennack Sands, and the Minack Theatre, while St Michael’s Mount can be reached in around half an hour by car. Having your own transport is useful, as most of the beaches and nearby villages aren’t within easy walking distance.
